Wordless Books
Three of our books are wordless books. In these the images tell the story in a sequence of pictures in a format of a structure made of a series of paper squares folded using a classic origami technique. The outlines of the pictures are screen printed, and the images are then hand colored.

BB
This "Bugs and Bees" book is 3" square. It begins with panels covered with ladybugs, then moves on to panels covered with bees. The bugs and bees then merge and are drawn together in the final panel where they encounter a bright red flower. The closure for this book is a paper slide decorated with a bee.
BIRC
A sequence of six individual baby chickadees seen from varied perspectives and angles end up gathered together on a branch with their mother. This book has a bird house-shaped format with the base measuring 5". The book has ribbons with which to close it.
BIRW
This book has a bird house-shaped format with the base measuring 5". It shows a series of four wrens gathering materials for a nest, in flight, and a final image of the completed nest. The book is closed with ribbon ties.
